
Just a few weeks ago was a significant national holiday in the music industry: March 11 is known as 311 Day. Fresh off the day is a massive tour announcement from the band that is dubbed the Unity Tour. The two month tour begins on June 20 in Atlantic City NJ, and concludes on August 31 in Pryor OK. This summer is sure to be a good one for die hard fans as they bring their signature blend of rock, reggae, and funk from city to city nationwide.
The band is bringing out alternative and hard rock outfit Badflower, as well Sitting On Saturn as support. Included on this run will be a massive stop at the Long Beach CA Warped Tour dates. The vibes will be immaculate as most of these dates will include stops in high capacity amphitheaters and is sure to be a show that die hard fans can’t miss.
In addition to the tour announcement, the band has announced details regarding the 30th anniversary of their iconic “blue album”. They released a teaser for it online which due to an overwhelming demand caused their website to crash within three minutes. The reissue which comes out on July 11, and will consist of a 2-LP set with seven bonus tracks. The double LP will feature every song that the band recorded during the making of this album from 1995 which they are dubbing as “blue album sessions”. The band also re-released reprints of merch from their 1995 album cycle as well.
