As many of you know, Spokane and the surrounding areas have been on fire for some time now, and ongoing efforts have been successful in getting them under control. Unfortunately, the air quality has not been the best and it has affected the breathing quality of many – including myself. Fans still made their appearance to give such support to so many incredible bands. 311 brought the 'So Glad You Made It Tour' to BECU Live! and lets just say, they were so glad that we made it despite the weather conditions.
Summer was ending and with that, some of the hottest acts were heating up the stage at BECU Live! At Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Washington. The crowd was packed and the energy was already almost palpable even before Rome stepped on stage to start off the night.
Roman Rene Ramirez, also known as Rome is best known for playing with Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh of Sublime in the band Sublime with Rome. Born and raised in Fremont, California he started playing guitar at age 11 and one of his first songs he learned was a Sublime song.
The setlist was full of old and new songs, starting with PCH which is one of the songs from the collaboration with Sublime. He brought such a cool vibe to the show and it was so fun to be able to see the crowd fully committed to the energy he was bringing,

Founded in 2011, Ocean Alley is comprised of Baden Donegal on vocals and guitar; Angus Goodwin on the lead guitar, Lach Galbraith on keyboards and vocals, Mitch Galbraith on guitar with Nic Blom and Tom O’Brien on bass and drums respectively.
The Band has released five studio albums and two EP’s independently. Loved by their home nation, they’ve also been embraced by both the festival crowds and commercial mainstream. They opened up with one of their biggest hits Tangerine and kept the vibes mellow and the vibes smooth the entire set.

Co-Headliner 311 was formed in 1988 and has released a whopping fourteen studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, four Eps and four DVDs. Their name was chosen by Wills from the police code for indecent exposure in Omaha after a friend of the band was arrested and cited for skinny dipping in a public pool.
In 1999, they released one of their biggest songs “Come Original” was released and reached No. 6 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart. On March 11th, 2000, 311 began celebrating an unofficial holiday of their own creation called 311 day. The band chose this date because it is known as 3/11. Every other year between 2000 and 2020 and every year since 2021 the band performs an extended concert for thousands of their fans.
Being able to hear both “Come Original” and “Amber” was something I never thought that I would be able to experience. And being able to be in the pit to “Come Original” was the highlight of my summer. Growing up on both songs has shaped my taste in music and my love for the calm energy that this band brings to the table.
