Los Angeles based modern-rock duo 20K Rio have just dropped their brand new single ‘The Flood’. This track follows the release of their 2nd EP which was released earlier last year titled ‘Lost A Little’. 20K Rio has consistently been a gem in putting out singles every few months since rebranding in the summer of 2023.
‘The Flood’ perfectly encapsulates an ambience feel with some nicely polished blues rock guitars mixed in as well as some punchy drums that create a great contrast for any modern rock listener. The track is a perfect representation of what their sound is as a band, and sets the mood for their inevitable rise in the scene.
20K Rio consists of Tommy Lloyd and Luke Caro. Formerly of the pop punk project Lip Candy, the duo has parted ways from the sound of their old project to create a more authentic and polished sound that is unapologetically them. Filling their discography with banger after banger, the duo is sure to carve out their path in the new wave of rock music, a genre that is desperately hungry for new faces.
