Shaylen is set to make her debut performance at STAGECOACH, California’s country music festival, on Saturday, April 27. Performing on the festival’s Toyota Music Den stage from 2:40-3:20 pm PT, Shaylen will bring the energetic set that she’s become known for.
Her inaugural country single, “What If I Don’t,” gained immediate attention in the country music scene. The single reached over 2.2 million streams across both Apple Music and Spotify within its first two months of release and has now reached over 27 million streams on Spotify alone (as of April 2024). The single came in at #98 on Spotify’s “Viral Songs USA” Chart of 2022 on December 22, 2022 and has since been achieving 60k - 70k daily streams on Spotify.
Along with her debut performance at STAGECOAOCH, Shaylen has a slot at the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival alongside Jelly Roll, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hardy and more, as well as her second CMA Fest performance in a row.
When asked about STAGECOACH, Shaylen said “I have always wanted to go to Stagecoach, but I have told myself, ‘I’m not going to go until I’m performing there.’ And now I am.”
Since Shaylen took a leap of faith into country music in 2022, she has experienced a meteoric rise, swiftly ascending to become one of the most prominent emerging female artists in the country music scene. “Everyone has a thumbprint. But nobody has your thumbprint. I keep that in mind, and remind myself from time to time that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be,” she says.
Because of her leap of faith, Shaylen will be living out more her dreams before this year is even over!
